The name Niebelungen Blues Band surfaced originally on a walk though Södermalm, Stockholm in gray winter weather in the early 90s . Fredrik and Hasse Pihl (former band mates from Laser Jesus) walking home from the pub Svejk, tipsy, brainstorming hopeless blues band names and it came up. Hard laughs. The name encapsules all music types. Fredrik started to use it for his solo project with computer generated music combined with lyrics from real poets and cut and paste dialogues from TV and voice synthesis (formerly named Holiday On Acid) in the late 90s. Måns came in some years later and the solo project became a duo and a beginning of Kryxal Records.
