Laser Jesus is a Swedish rock and performance band formed in 1988 and active to 1994. The group got recognised for their avant garde rock with a mix of punk, traditional jazz and hardcore new wave executed with performance art on stage. The band toured extensively in Sweden 1988-1990 and was invited to Arnhem Internationaal Audio Visual Experimenteel Festival (AVE) 1989. Laser Jesus released the album In HiFi (1990) on City Records (Warner) outside of the Kryxal catalogue. It is now re-released here on Kryxal Records thanks to Philip Ideström, Kryxal's own Tom Hagen.
